Tuscany, Italy

The love for this land, the bound with our family’s origins, takes Otello Fabiani and his Sons, Carlo and Luigi, when in 1975 acquires the Farm House in the prestigious wine area of Bolgheri, at the beginning of an era of one of the most important land for wine produciton.

Cipriana is the third Wine House born in this land, and the first bottle of his most famous wine, named “San Martino”, in honor of Giosuè Carducci, was created in 1978.

Living the Maremma, immersed in the vineyards of Bolgheri and Castagneto Carducci, where you can walk among the olive trees and to smell the scent of lemons. The sea breeze is a constant companion on summer days and the sunset offers suggestive glimpses of the hills and medieval villages.

Rich, dark, and complex, this will compliment the richest meals. The nose has deep plums, raspberry, pepper, and spice. Plums, cassis, and raspberry lead on the palate, with mocha underneath. Raspberry, black pepper, and allspice come through on the mid-palate. The finish lingers. Lightly drying tannins are matched by acids.
