Bortolomiol
Veneto, Italy
This is the legacy left by Giuliano to his wife Ottavia and their daughters Maria Elena, Elvira, Luisa and Giuliana, who with a “natural” instinct have not only maintained what their father built up but have also taken on new challenges to ensure the revolution does not come to an end.
Bortolomiol is a strong and tight-knit family made up entirely of women: the mother, the soul and linchpin of this company, and the sisters, the beating heart, who guide and support the family business in the continual challenges to achieve quality, efficiency and effectiveness with an outlook that is always competitive.

BortolomiolSuperiore Di Cartizze Valdobbiadene D.O.C.G. Dry Millesimato
91 Points From Robert Parker
This Dry Millesimato has a pleasant, inviting fragrance, the main feature of Prosecco Superiore. Aromas of fruit cocktail, hazelnuts and sweet acacia flowers in an exhilarating fusion. In the mouth the characteristic sugars are balanced by a freshness and notable density and creaminess.
Bortolomiol70th Anniversary Rive di Col San Martino Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG
92 Points From Robert Parker
The unique 70th Anniversary collection continues with the 70th Anniversary Rive di Col San Martino Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG, a sparkling wine in a numbered limited edition, 8,000 bottles, which this year presents itself with a silver foil label. The grapes were harvested during the 2021 and comes from a single vineyard located on a steep slope in the woodland of the Denomination, which enjoys perfect exposure to the sun. The Rive di Col San Martino give life to this extra brut, millesimo 2021, following lengthy ageing on the lees, which brings out the extreme characteristics of a land that is difficult to cultivate, where everything is done “by hand”. The bottle has a hang tag that tells the story of the wine, and is wrapped in tissue with a silver-colored logo and housed inside a gift box to complete the packaging.
Because of its complexity and structure this sparkling wine pairs well with pasta dishes with white meat sauces, risottos with seasonal vegetables or with more important dishes such as baked sea bass or river trout. It is also an excellent accompaniment to savory puff pastry and can be enjoyed perfectly on its own as an aperitif or for a toast on very important occasions.
Bortolomiol“GRANDE CUVEE DEL FONDATORE” MOTUS VITAE Valdobbiadene D.O.C.G. Prosecco Superiore Extra Brut - Millesimato Rive San Pietro di Barbozza
92 Points From Robert Parker
All the sparkling wine experience of the Bortolomiol winery has been put into play for this further challenge to continue the exploits of Giuliano Bortolomiol, a skilled sparkling wine maker and great experimenter, always looking for new ways in the name of high quality. This Grande Cuvèe is dedicated to him, the first to obtain a Brut from Prosecco, a Rive produced exclusively with grapes from the San Pietro di Barbozza vineyard, Extra Brut and Millesimato to best represent the peculiar characteristics of each vintage. Characteristics that inspired the colors of the new packaging, the dark brown of the earth and the light blue of the sky.
The flowery nose highlights an austere and non-explosive character which preludes a dry, vibrant and well-made gustatory impact. Here you can be daring in the pairing: in addition to the classic seafood and shellfish, the good structure leaves room for combinations with fatty fish, such as turbot, and white meat, such as the exuberant suckling pig interpreted with delicacy.
BortolomiolIUS NATURAE Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore D.O.C.G.
94 Points From Falstaff
The mousse is fine and persistent and the pale straw yellow color indicates the wine has great energy. An energy that we find both on the nose with its deep austere bouquet of fragrant fruity, flowery and mineral notes of acacia honey and almond flower as well as in the mouth. Here the sweetness is controlled and its zest, combined with a lovely freshness, brings a solid, vigorous and lasting flavor. The wine can be enjoyed with the same foods as traditional Bruts even if in this case its minerality and vigour suggest it would also go well with snails cooked with garlic, parsley and wild herbs.
