Vallone

Puglia, Italy

The wine business dates back to the second half of the 19th century when Commendatore Vincenzo De Marco successfully started the production and marketing of bulk wines in France and Tuscany in San Pietro Vernotico.

The agricultural company was born from the union of the lands of Professor Donato Vallone with those given as a dowry by Commendatore De Marco to his daughter Maria: the marriage deed of 1934 sanctions the merger of the two agricultural realities, the Flaminio estate of Brindisi with the Iore estate of San Pancrazio Salentino.

Later, at the end of the 60s, the splendid Castel Serranova estate was added.

The history of the Vallone company is the story of a family who dedicated their passion to seeing their original winemaking project grow and who, in the second half of the last century, became the protagonist of an innovative process with which they contributed to changing the perception of Apulian wine in Italy and in the world.

Vallone is a productive reality of 500 hectares divided into 3 estates in the municipalities of San Pancrazio Salentino, San Pietro Vernotico and Carovigno.
