Palmento Costanzo
Sicily, Italy
A bond with the earth that turns into the dream of cultivating vineyards , of understanding the terroir of Etna and its infinite nuances, of producing wine in one of the most fascinating places on the planet, between heaven and earth, sea and mountains, a contact area between soil and subsoil.
Palmento Costanzo was born in 2010 from the will of the Costanzo family to get closer to the land that saw them grow, the slopes of Etna, re-appropriating a craftsman’s work and a direct knowledge of nature that manifest themselves in the creation of elegant, expressive wines, authentic offspring of the “Muntagna”, as the volcano is affectionately called by its inhabitants.

Palmento CostanzoEtna Rosso Mofete
90 Point from James Suckling
I like the fragrant nose and the well-crafted tannins on the medium to full body, where there’s a very satisfying balance, thanks to the lively acidity. Harmonious finish.
Palmento CostanzoEtna Bianco Mofete
Decidedly captivating and mature in the fruits of apple, pear, melon and white peaches showing a full body, a dense, compact structure and a luminous finale of optimum persistency. Drink now.
Palmento CostanzoEtna Contrada Santo Spirito
The nose reveals some pulpiness of the fruit, a certain gourmandize as well as a certain tension. There are notes of red plum, pulpy blackberry and strawberry combined with hints of violet, crushed blackcurrant, fine points of sweet spices and a subtle hint of almond. as well as a discreet touch of mocha.
